I had the honor of co-hosting a baby shower for my sweet Sister-in-Law, Emily. You may remember me highlighting her bridal shower, here! Well, she's on to the next phase of life! And, what better way to celebrate our little kindergarten teacher, than with a school-themed party! Chalkboards, pink cursive lettering, after school "snacks", and pink polka dots galore!
We filled the "After School Snacks" with a sweet chex mix treat made by one of the grandmas-to-be!
Extra large pink balloons and pink tissue poufs made quite the statement!
Yummy finger foods was the perfect mid-day shower menu!
Pink pencils and pretty wrapped books kept the school-theme together on each table setting...
We used maps and globes as extra details...
And, chalk board signs, put in frames, made for darling statement pieces!
Pink flowers, paper airplanes and chalk board signs tied our theme in perfectly!
Each guest was given their own "game kit" that included a sharp pink pencil and 4 activity sheets! From baby shower bingo, to guessing the mama-to-be's belly size, we kept everyone busy and laughing!
We used black gift wrap rolls as table runners and wrote a quote from a well-known baby book on top as decoration...
Each guest received a sweet invite with a book plate to add to a book for the new baby's library! Such a great way to build up the new parent's collection...
